Red lips are back in vogue (did they ever go away?) for autumn/winter 2012. For a new take on the trend, take inspiration from Maria Grachvogel, where mouths were given a 'red wine' stain. "For a similar look go for lipsticks with maroon and berry pigments and apply in a round-shape for a 20s feel," says Lan.

At House of Holland, red lips were brighter than bright while at PPQ, mouths featured a well-defined cupid's bow.
