Honing her skills at Dior and McQueen, Anne Sofie Madsen set up her eponymous label in 2010. Its first outing at SS12 Copenhagen Fashion Week garnered rave reviews, including a glowing write-up in American Vogue. A fascination with eerie scary tales pervades Anne Sofie's work and the Danish designer is actually a published illustrator on the side: detailed imagery is one of her key trademarks, along with meticulous couture finishes and sheer, diaphanous materials.
