Fabric blocking

Colour blocking has been a popular trend in menswear in recent years, but now fabric panelling, the technique of mixing different textures and fabrics together on one garment, has emerged as a similar new trend. The most literal example of this look is the trend for suede-look shoulder patches on sweatshirts, while Primark use mixed textures to the max in their grey panelled shirt.
