If there’s one good thing that came out of the hype around John Mayer’s fling with Katy Perry, it’s that after that they broke up, he finally cut his hair. For the last several months (or even years – John’s been out of the spotlight for a while), John’s grown it out, accessorising with a white cowboy hat and a moustache for maximum grease-ball effect. Now that he’s back to looking like himself circa 2002, we’ve come to realize that all questionable interviews and high-profile relationships aside, John’s former hotness was just one shave and a haircut away.

Now that we think about it, it’s rare to meet people who are so good-looking, that their attractiveness transcends their poor style choices. More often than not, a single choice can make or break somebody’s appearance.
