British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson looked like the prototypical pretty boy in 2008’s teen flick Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging, where he played “Robbie the Sex God.” Understandably, he changed up his look after doing more grown-up fare and marrying a woman twice his age, but we can’t help mourning a little for the hotness that could have been, had he retained his personal grooming.

Our one-step style prescription:  Compare this photo of him from the Nowhere Boy premiere in 2009 to this one from the Anna Karenina premiere on Tuesday. His looks would easily be restored if he simply pulled his curls back. Those cheekbones are too nice to be overshadowed by hair.
