America’s Next Top Model (ANTM) started in 2003 as a show for aspiring models to kickstart their career but that promise seems to have fallen through with the show’s inability to create top models on runways and campaigns. Fatima Siad was the second runner-up in Cycle 10 but has proven to be the true breakout star of the ANTM franchise.

After signing to New York Model Management, she began to nab spreads in Marie Claire and Women’s Wear Daily. After fronting the BCBG Max Azria and Herve Leger campaigns, she scored a coup by walking for top brands Dries Van Noten and Hermes in the Spring/Summer 2012 show in Paris. Now, who says ANTM contestants are just reality star attention-hoggers?

Cycle 18 winner Sophie Sumner was the co-headliner in Digital Fashion Week Singapore this past week.
