2. Prepare a skin regimen for long-haul flights

One of the worst things about flying halfway around the world is how gross you feel after stepping off the plane. Your hair’s limp, your skin’s cracked yet oily, and there are probably a couple of pimples forming between your eyebrows. All this can be prevented if you simply take the time to pause your in-flight entertainment to apply some moisturiser.

“The dry, compressed air in a plane is like a desert to your skin,” Sabrina says. “When skin is dried out, its structure becomes weak and this causes problems like skin irritation, sensitivity, and signs of ageing. This is a major problem because skin becomes more prone to hyperpigmentation, especially if you’re doing outdoor activities on holiday like skiing and diving.

“And all this can be easily prevented just by using products with hyaluronic acid, ceramides and collagen. These boost skin’s moisture, rebuild and strengthen the skin respectively.”
