10 unorthodox beauty products coming to S’pore

For the past 17 years, the BeautyAsia trade exhibition has showcased the hottest cosmetics, skincare, spa, and hair products here in Singapore. It’s a wonderland for beauty geeks and vendors alike, who get to buy everything from funky nail art jewellery to eyelashes that look like they came straight from the runways of Paris.

At the media preview this Monday, we visited every booth in hope of finding the next big thing in beauty. And while we spent several hours combing through tried-and-true trends – such as DIY gel nails, anti-acne creams, and therapeutic oils – our curiosity got the best of us when we encountered vendors exhibiting lace eyelashes, affordable posture vests, and even “the world’s first vagina pack.”
