10 ways to distract people from the fact that you’re not wearing any makeup

Any woman who’s gotten accustomed to wearing makeup every day – even if it’s something as simple as BB cream – will know that going from a full face to zero makes you look less like a “natural beauty” and more like someone who’s down with the flu. (At least that’s the impression we get based on people’s reactions, which can range from something as benign as “are you okay?” to a full-on “who are you???”)
There are three ways to deal with the unwanted commentary. You can go back to wearing makeup. You can laugh it off. Or – OR – you can distract people from the fact that you’re not wearing any makeup. Call it an optical illusion or just plain magic, but we’ve found that diversion is the easiest, most effective solution to going bare without anyone noticing.
