SINGAPORE — Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, the world’s highest paid model, isn’t just the face for H&M’s Autumn 2013 campaign — she has lent her voice as well.
Bundchen spent some time in the recording studio, providing some smoky vocals to a reworking of The Kink’s 1964 smash hit, All Day And All Of The Night. The song, which was specially picked by H&M, appears on the campaign’s television and online commercials, and can be downloaded for free from hm.com.
Gisele follows in the footsteps of singing superstar Beyonce, who fronted H&M’s summer campaign and provided the vocals for the TV advert, also, with an original song called Standing On The Sun.
With every download, H&M will donate one vaccine to a child through UNICEF. “I am so excited to be the face of H&M this Autumn,” said Bundchen. “I love the street style look, and we can raise funds for UNICEF too. I hope everyone downloads my song!”
Q: How has the experience of shooting H&M’s Autumn 2013 campaign been for you?
A: I had a great time on the shoot. We had a great team of people and it was a beautiful sunny day so it was perfect that we were able to shoot outside. I also loved recording the song; it was such a fun experience.
Q: Which are your favourite pieces from the campaign then?
A: I really loved the green blouse, the green pants, the blue short jacket, the coat, and the sweaters. Actually, I liked everything I wore.
Q: Fall is just around the corner. What are some of your key pieces for the season?
A: I am always a big fan of jeans because it is easy to match with everything. Cosy sweaters, sweat shirts and a nice light jacket are good options too. I love scarves (as well) since I usually tend to feel a bit chilly.
