Lily's slightly 'lived-in' smoky-eyed look is a great way to achieve dramatic eyes and easier to achieve than you might think.

"This effortless look works on everyone," says award-winning celebrity make-up artist Lan Nguyen.

"Take a shimmering cream or eye shadow and blend with kohl pencil smudged into the lashes, then add a dab of gloss on the lid for a fresh finish. "

"The trick is not to be too specific with blending," advises Lan. "Move freely and smudge the colours together to let them do their work. Focus on getting the intensity near the lash line and sockets to create more definition."
