Jade Cole: The “biracial butterfly” (Cycle 6)

Jade might not have won the competition – or made it big in the fashion world – but she will forever live in our hearts for calling herself an “exotic biracial butterfly” and a “soldier sistah.”  Obnoxious, self-absorbed, and flamboyant, Jade’s huge ego made judges demote her to the bottom two five times during her run. She might have been a pain to work with, but she was a lot of fun to watch – which may be part of the reason she made it to the top 3 before being eliminated. Our last memory of Jade is of her reading her poem aloud after being sent packing. Since then, Jade has opened  a productions company called Biracial Butterfly Productions (what else?), and signed on with Elite Model Management in Hong King in 2009.
