Kim Stolz: The first openly-lesbian contestant (Cycle 5)
At a mere 1.73 metres, Kim Stolz was one of the shortest women to compete in America’s Next Top Model. But she made Top Model history after standing tall in her pride over being openly homosexual. While Kim was criticised by judges and fellow contestants for being “ugly” or “masculine” in appearance, she’s gone on to enjoy a mildly successful career as an MTV VJ and as a commercial model.
