Burberry will allow customer to snap up items from its autumn/winter 2013-14 show this afternoon (18.02.13) immediately after the catwalk event.

Burberry has launched a made-to-order catwalk service.

The fashion giant will allow customers to order bespoke pieces straight from the autumn/winter 2013-14 show on website burberry.com as soon as the event wraps this afternoon (18.02.13).

Fans will have the option to personalise their high end purchases by choosing to have their name engraved into on the bag plate or the metal coat tag.

The outerwear and handbags will also feature exciting in-built technology, allowing the owner to retrace the item's ''journey'' from the design board to the finished piece.

Burberry Regent Street store in London has set up a new feature to complement the high-tech clothing line, enabling the shop mirrors to display a personalised product video if you stand in front of them.

Creative director Christopher Bailey recently revealed he wanted the four-floor store to offer customers a ''living experience'' of the label's website thanks to its sensitive screens and concert-quality sound systems.

Burberry's hotly-anticipated catwalk show kicks off in London's Kensington Gardens at 4pm.

The special service will run two weeks from today.
