For the 2008 American Music Awards, Mariah wore a simple, elegant black gown with a little pizzazz on the neckline. For the AMAs in 2011, Nicki wore a Kelly green Oscar de la Renta dress with a broderie anglaise bodice and pink hair.

Winner: Nicki. Her gown is flashy as ever, but less garish than her other outfits.
