Helena Christensen may give up modelling for photography.
The 44-year-old supermodel has been enjoying success as a photographer in recent years, particularly through her charity work with Oxfam - who exhibited her photographs in York City - and she is contemplating a permanent move behind the camera.
She said: ''If it continues the way it's going, then that is probably the direction I'm going in.
''I am still amazed you can capture one second of life and keep it forever. I still sit with my grandma and look through all the photos she's glued in her album over the years. Photography has been important in a fundamental way throughout my life. On one hand, I have this strange, amazing, interesting job as a model. On the other, I am a photographer. They complement each other well.''
The Danish beauty has starred in numerous high fashion campaigns throughout her career, but she is now excited to work behind the scenes in fashion as a photographer and most recently, a handbag designer for accessories company Kipling.
Helena designed her own series of handbags for Kipling and put her personal stamp on the brand's famous bags.
She told to the Metro newspaper: ''Since my early twenties I've been pulling Kipling bags along on my trips, so when they approached me to collaborate I thought it would be cool to put my own touch on bags I'd probably be travelling with anyway.
''I've been in the business so long it's great to get a more three-dimensional experience. Working with a company, expanding my horizons and learning about other sides of the businesses, about the technical approach, gives me a completely different insight.''
