An explosion of local artistes on the red carpet this year led to some standout sartorial choices and some, well, interesting ones (to say the least)

NOT (ENOUGH ‘BIGBANG’): Ann Kok

Firstly, kudos to Ann Kok for accessorising well with an Anna Dello Russo for H&M sky blue minaudiere. This Michael Kors dress though, did not do enough to highlight her lithe frame. The weird shoulder strap placement and droopy waist made Ann look shorter than she is, although the touch of glimmer saved this one. A low ponytail and nude face begged the question – got no courage to pull off a ‘bigbang’, ah?
