Nancy, oh Nancy. The bombshell who bagged a supporting actress win for TVB’s ‘Gloves Come Off’ showed the celebs how to work the red carpet with this emerald green Barney Cheng couture gown. Coincidentally, this gown was shown during Barney’s show at Haute Couture Week a few weeks ago in Singapore.
The peekaboo lines going down the bodice and the square-cut décolletage give it that risqué factor without coming across like a slutty dress. Plus points for a simple yet geometric necklace and her embellished minaudiere, which she claims is from her own collection. Ah, the joys of being the 1%...
NOT: Moses Chan
This is not such a big no-no in our books, but Moses Chan’s black-on-black Endem outfit just did not elicit any “oohs” and “aahs” for being safe and boring. The military jacket had an interesting V-shaped placket and its low collar highlighted the white shirt and black bow tie underneath but a switcheroo of pants to a bold print or colour would have sealed the deal.
