An explosion of local artistes on the red carpet this year led to some standout sartorial choices and some, well, interesting ones (to say the least)

HOT: Chua Enlai

Two celebs went head-to-head in the ‘clashing prints’ department, one of whom is Chua Enlai who brought the house down in this tasteful H2T Etro look. The brand, known for its intricate prints, can be sometimes overwhelming but Enlai made a few smart moves. By employing similar diamond-like prints and keeping the bold print for the shirt, the prints popped in the right places.

Besides keeping the pants a simple crisp black, another smart sartorial choice is to have a similar print on the bow tie and the shirt, thus making the ‘column’ more pronounced and less discordant. Kudos for the baby blue shirt, proving that there is no such thing as a bad pastel colour. Nothing but praise for this ensemble!
