HOT OR NOT: Teen Choice Awards 2012

Tween sensation took over social media this morning as the Teen Choice Awards were held Monday morning (Singapore time) at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. Taylor Swift came out tops as she bagged home five surfboard trophies including voice actress in animated movie "The Lorax". Justin Bieber won four awards and movie series The Twilight Saga took home top honours for ultimate choice.

The awards show is known for its irreverent award categories and casual-chic styles on the pink carpet. A mixture of faces from the music, movie and television fields took to the pre-awards strut in smart-casual get-ups and snazzy cocktail dresses, but others turned up too casual for the occasion. We zero in on those that look amazing and those that forgot to call their stylists, including four celebs that get a "maybe" for their half-baked style.
