3 steps to choosing eyewear that matches your facial features
Picking eyewear that suits your face is as difficult as picking the right pair of jeans, the right swimsuit, and the perfect bra. Pick the right pair of specs, and you’ll gain points of chicness and perceived intelligence. Pick the wrong pair, however, and you’ll look as dowdy as your old Maths tutor.
In conjunction with the recent opening of The Optique of Tomorrow (T.O.T.) in JEM, we consulted Managing Director of T.O.T. parent company Nanyang Optical, Bernard Yang, for advice on selecting the perfect pair of spectacles. Given his two decades of industry experience, Bernard is not only an expert in eyewear trends, but he’s an enthusiastic advocate for seeing eyewear as more than a vision-correcting apparatus.
In an interview with xinmsn, Bernard shared the following tips for picking out eyewear that suits your face shape, your daily needs, and your style persona – be it classic, nerdy-chic, or full-on adventurous.
Read on for the three steps to picking the right eyewear for you.
