Jennifer Aniston 'hated' her hair
Jennifer Aniston used to find her straight locks impossible to manage until she found haircare brand Living Proof.
Jennifer Aniston ''hated'' her hair when she was growing up.
Although the 'Friends' actress' infamous 'Rachel' cut was arguably the most copied style of the 90s and her sleek, shiny tresses are still the envy of millions of women worldwide, she used to find her straight hair tough to manage.
Laughing off her hair icon status during WWD's Beauty CEO Summit, she revealed: ''I always had problem hair. But I sat in enough chairs of these amazing creators and learned how to manage it.''
Jennifer bought into haircare brand Living Proof in 2012 after discovering the brand worked wonders for her troublesome locks.
She helps oversee creative marketing as well as product development with the company's team of scientists, a role she finds incredibly fulfilling.
She explained to the crowd at the event: ''It's a wonderful product line that I believe in and which makes a difference to so many people -- it lives up to its name. And it's fun to be involved creatively from concept to execution, sharing my ideas.
''After spending 25-plus years in makeup and hair, you learn what works and what doesn't work, what damages your hair -- what you have to mix five products together to achieve. And [in my] role I have all these men in white lab coats where I can throw out ideas.''
