Jessica Simpson's wedding hair inspired by daughter

Jessica Simpson's wedding hair was inspired by her daughter.
The 34-year-old singer's hair stylist Rita Hazan spent months creating a picture-perfect look ahead of her wedding to Eric Johnson last weekend, gradually building up the colour so Jessica's locks matched her two-year-old daughter Maxwell's exactly.
Rita - who has worked with the 'With You' hitmaker for 15 years - told People magazine: ''Jessica just had to be blonde. She looks her best as a blonde. I wanted her hair to be timeless, so the colour was more of a baby blonde [to match] Maxwell's colour, with subtle highlights that blend into her hair.''
It was vital to the pop star that her highlights complemented her stunning champagne-coloured Carolina Herrera wedding gown and looked as natural as possible.
Rita said: ''Highlight placement is important, and the tone is the most important. It has to be perfect: not too pale and not too golden.''
The stylist started the process six months in advance, travelling to Los Angeles to do single process colour and highlights every month in the run up to the big day.
Jessica and retired NFL player Eric tied the knot in front of 275 guests during a lavish ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California on July 5, with Maxwell acting as flower girl and their 12-month-old son Ace performing the ring bearer duties.
