Katy Perry is designing a jewellery line for Claire's Accessories.
The singer has joined forces with the high street retailer to create the Katy Perry PRISM Collection, set to debut in May when her world tour kicks off.
The 'Roar' hitmaker is an ideal fit for the popular brand, aimed at young girls under the age of 18, due to her love of all things kitch and colourful.
Katy said in a statement: ''Claire's will be the perfect destination for accessories inspired by my new album, 'PRISM'. I specifically curated these collections to make sure you're show-ready for my PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR, coming to a city near you.''
Claire's will stock the 29-year-old star's ''limited-edition items, seasonal novelty pieces, collectibles, and products inspired by the lyrics and titles of [her] greatest hits'' in stores worldwide until 2016, with Katy updating the line throughout.
Jim Fielding, chief executive officer of Claire's, explained: ''When we survey our girls around the world, she's the superstar that resonates globally. We've done smaller deals and always carried different products. Katy is our big one.
''Katy is designing a line of jewellery and accessories that she wanted to make for her fans. The overlap between her fans and the Claire's customer is a great overlap. Katy is a very smart businesswoman and a great performer. She knows her brand very well. She has a definite aesthetic and point of view.''
