Miss New York Mallory Hytes Hagan wins the coveted crown!

Mallory Hagan, a 23 year-old tap-dancing beauty from Brooklyn, New York became the winner of this year's Miss America pageant held in Las Vegas just yesterday! Miss South Carolina Ali Rogers and Miss Oklahoma Alicia Clifton took first runner-up and third place, respectively. The newly crowned Miss America will tour nationwide as an advocate for the Children's Miracle Network- the organization's official charity. She will also receive US$50,000 as part of her college scholarship. Congratulations again Miss New York!
