Nicki Minaj: The more make-up, the better

Nicki Minaj thinks ''more is more'' when it comes to make-up.

The rapper admits she is obsessed with contouring her face to enhance her features and believes cosmetics should be applied liberally with the help of a little imagination and lot of confidence.

She explained: ''I'm really into contouring to change the shape of my face. When it comes to putting on fake eyelashes, I use a little imagination, a lot of eyeliner, a steady hand and no fear. For me, more is more.''

The 'American Idol' judge has several fail-safe beauty secrets and says the key to flawless skin is using natural products and being meticulous about removing make-up.

Nicki revealed: ''I never go to bed with my make-up on - ever. I drink tons of water and slather myself in cocoa butter. I have a dermatologist in LA who gave me some great advice - never use anything to wash my skin that contains alcohol or ail.''

The feisty star is famed for her love of wigs in all shapes and sizes, but that doesn't stop her from looking after her natural hair to ensure it stays healthy.

She said: ''I go to a Dominican hairstylist who uses a lot of hot oil treatments and I use really moisturising Mizani shampoos and masks.''
