Many women get caught in a make-up time warp, and once you reach your late 40s it's important to have an overhaul - or risk looking older than your years.
"While her individuality and rawness is to be admired, this is a good example of too much powder, blusher and foundation," says Lee.
"When you apply a mask of make-up it is instantly ageing. The trick is to make the skin look natural and then the rest of your make-up won't look so heavy. You can choose to highlight the lips with a bold colour but shouldn't emphasise every feature - otherwise you risk looking clown-like."
Intense fuchsia lips don't work with Courtney's alabaster-like skin with its slight pink tone, says Amanda, who recommends NARS lipstick in Dolce Vita. "A cream blush opposed to powder would also be more flattering as it would blend easily into her skin."
