Her music is pure guilty pleasure, but are her tour ensembles a “Love Story” or “Trouble”?
On Monday, country darling Taylor Swift rocked 8,000 Swifties in a packed show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium with 13 of her hottest karaoke-friendly hits (if you don’t sing along, you aren’t doing it right).
Just like her tunes, her costumes steered clear of being too over-the-top – in fact, we wouldn’t even consider them over-the-top at all, especially if you make a quick comparison with her pop princess peers like Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Sure, there was a lot of glitter, a healthy dose of lace and billowing skirts to keep things interesting, but all in all, a typical Taylor ensemble is very easily replicated (at least half of the audience attempted to dress like her and actually pulled it off – it’s that simple).
However, were they all 'Red' hot, or did some of them produce a 'Picture to Burn'? We put our fashion critique hats on again and analyse the garb she donned for her world dominating Red Tour, as well as previous ones. And don't worry - we'll try our best not to be 'Mean'.
