5 questions with … Angelababy

Hong Kong model-actress Angelababy (also known as Angela Yeung) will be starring alongside Taiwanese pop hero Eddie Peng in Love You You, a romantic comedy about two people who eventually fall in love. Really. And trust the pixie-face lass to count her own label, b+aby, as her favourite; and considers herself "a girly girl" as she likes pink. Who doesn't?

You are only 23 years old, but what styles would you like to try out?

There are a lot of styles I'd like to try. That's why I think I could say my sense of style is quite diverse. Sometimes you will catch me dolling up for (the) red carpet but, other times, I will (put on) relaxed, fitted clothes!

What do you lean towards in your daily outfit?

Simplicity with a little confidence. If you are not confident of yourself, you won't be pretty in others' eyes. And do not over accessorise. I would wear clothes that fit my frame well. But to look and feel good, I would encourage everybody to exercise and eat healthily. I know that sometimes busy schedules really limit the time we have, but as long as we can find time to go for a jog or hit the gym, we should do it. We have to keep our body healthy so that we can accomplish what we like to do.

How do you think your style has evolved over the years?

I've come across lots of things these years. I've seen more about fashion and, to be honest, there is much more to be explored. Fashion is a trend that needs a lot of work to catch up with: It is ever evolving and that is what keeps it alive.

Would you consider yourself a saver or a spendthrift?

I am happy to say that I control my spending quite well. Sometimes, we just need to take a step back and ask ourselves whether we really need to have so many things.

What, in your opinion, completes the outfit?

One's heart, I'd say. If you don't love your outfit, you will not feel complete in the outfit that you wear. Just like the fact that you have to love yourself at all times.
