TREATMENT: There's nothing like a luxurious La Mer facial to bring back an instant glow to the face. After a thorough skin analysis conducted by the brand's in-house aesthetician, specific products are incorporated into the treatment to suit our skin concerns.

Using traditional Swedish massage techniques and acupressure to improve blood flow and circulation, the therapist begins the treatment with a deep cleanse and exfoliation, with the option of blackhead extraction. Products like The Concentrate enriched with the brand's proprietary Miracle Broth, and Crème de la Mer, were seamlessly incorporated, infusing the skin with vital nutrients and energy. To reduce puffiness, sagging and wrinkles around the eyes, The Eye Balm Intense was also massaged around the eyes. Extra attention was also paid to the body like the décolleté, shoulders, hands and feet, using The Body Refiner exfoliator and The Reparative Body Lotion for hydration.

VERDICT: Even though the facial was conducted in the brand's cabin at Takashimaya, we fell into a deep lull despite of the bustle outside. Overall, the head-to-toe pampering was pleasurable, and our serene and supple faces were the proof.
