Watsons launches exciting new services for 26th anniversary
Singapore’s leading health and beauty retailer is celebrating its 26th year since opening its first store in Marina Square by introducing three cool new services for customers.
One of them is its first-ever mobile truck, Watsons on Wheels, which is set to make stops at various parts of the island including the city, heartlands and tertiary institutions. In addition to being able to catch a convenient shopping break, shoppers will also be treated to on-the-spot makeovers and trial samplings.
To kick off the launch, Watsons is partnering with Maybelline from now until the end of March to showcase their ColorShow Mobile Pop-up store. Some of the locations to catch it in are Cineleisure, Singapore Management University, Clarke Quay and The Float @ Marina Bay.
Customers can also look forward to the swanky Watsons i-Kiosk, which will first be set up at its flagship store at Takashimaya Shopping Centre. With this, shoppers can now easily browse through the Watsons catalogue and keep themselves updated with the latest promotions and contests.
Shutterbugs will also be happy to hear that the i-Kiosk also includes “Snap & Share”, a photo booth-like function that allows individuals to snap a picture of themselves on their Watsons shopping spree, decorate it with a variety of fun frames and designs, and save it to their mobile phones or share it on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
More good news for ultra-loyal Watsons patrons: they now have an elite card programme that doubles the benefits offered to regular members, such as special access and priority queuing to sales, free beauty trial sets, complimentary copies of in-house magazine GLOW, and exclusive partner offers. Members who spend at least $500 nett within five transactions qualify for the elite card.
