Gap's new creative director

Gap has hired its new creative director in the form of Rebekka Bay, the 42-year-old who, six years ago, was responsible for conceptualising, developing and launching COS (H&M's sister brand that has garnered a loyal following). As creative director and executive vice president for Gap Global Design, Bay will be driving the designs behind the women's, men's, 1969, accessories and body offerings. If her success with COS is anything to go by, you can expect a cool slew of clean lines, varying silhouettes and minimalist entries in Gap's products starting next Fall.

Rosie For Autograph

Ex-Victoria's Secrets Angel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's much anticipated debut lingerie collection, Rosie For Autograph, is now available in Singapore. Designed exclusively for Marks & Spencer, Rosie For Autograph is an exquisite and romantic 11-piece offering of silk lingerie sets, dainty camisoles, French knickers and kimono-style robes. Huntington-Whiteley dipped into her creative pool after trawling flea markets and vintage stores in London, Paris and Los Angeles. The result? Opulent delights of lovely silks and intricate embroidery detailing on the garments, with a colour palette of dusky pinks, muted greens and dramatic scarlet blooms.

Prices start from S$39 to S$69 for knickers, and S$69 to S$79 for bras. Available at selected Marks & Spencer stores across Singapore.

JW Anderson x Topshop

British designer JW Anderson has teamed up with Topshop to craft out amalgam of signature styles from his eponymous line, ranging from schoolgirl chic to punk and preppy Americana. We are especially impressed with the conversational prints of zebras and turtles repeated on denim, as well as varsity jackets emblazoned with the JW logo on the back.

Available at Topshop ION Orchard and Knightsbridge from Sept 30.
