Being single over the holidays can make you feel a little bit like an orphan. Unless you hold up with your own parents, you’re going to feel a little removed from the spirit of family and togetherness that defines the holiday. Even then, it can feel a little awkward spending the holidays with your family if you’re the only sibling who is still single.
