From previous encounters where friends of this reporter have had their other halves insist to choose spending Christmas Day with them or their family, we can pretty much say that your days are numbered if your selfish self rears its head. If your partner needs to visit his or her family, let that precede your date. They are more important than you. Even if that means meeting on Xmas Eve or Boxing Day, don’t be a brat. Just work around it.
