AW13 hair report
From super-sleek looks at Balmain and Alexis Mabille to retro waves at Hermès and Dries Van Noten, we spoke to Anna Bloomer, Senior Stylist from the Errol Douglas Artistic Team to round-up the biggest trends and the best pincurls, crimps and braids from the Paris AW13 catwalks with styling tips on how to recreate the looks at home.

Clean elegance was prevalent during the Parisian shows, hair was worn pulled back off the face to highlight clothing with collar and neckline details. The look is slightly androgynous but incredibly elegant and fuss-free “A foundation shape of smooth straight hair is a must for creating this look,” explains Anna Bloomer, Senior Stylist from the Errol Douglas Artistic Team. “Use a control mousse and pump it into the palms of your hands, then smooth into dry hair at the front of your hairline and back towards the top of the crown, then use a fine-toothed comb to distribute the mousse evenly and give a great dry hold that will stay all day.”
