New + Noted: Cedar Grill
This semi-alfresco Lebanese restaurant is owned by the folks behind Beirut Grill on Bussorah Street as well as upmarket DOM Lounge in MBS. It’s named after the Cedar tree on the Lebanese flag that symbolises “immortality and steadiness”. Signature dishes here include the Cedar Mezze ($29), a platter including hummus, falafel, cheese rolls served with pita bread, as well as Char-Grilled Lamb Chops ($28) with Lebanese spices. Expect belly dancers and musicians too. A members-only lounge upstairs called The Red Room opens next week.
