We've seen our fair share of gorgeous bags -- the beginning of the year is always a time for fashion houses to herald in the most tempting of their Spring/Summer creations -- but few have touched our hearts the way Prada's Saffiano Lux Galleria bag has.
The Lux Galleria bag, of course, is one of Prada's most iconic, and recognizable designs, fashioned entirely in the sumptuous Saffiano leather that's grained and scratch-resistant, and available in sizes that's both functional and fashionable; in the eyes of Prada aficionados, it is to Prada what the 2.55 is to Chanel. It's also the one bag that I personally have been hankering after since its initial launch, never mind that my own Cervo Shopping Tote serves me just fine (sorry, bag. It's not you, it's me).
This season, Prada has given fans even more reason to whip out their credit cards; the Lux Galleria bag gets a fresh new coat of colour, or two, to be exact, and sees a revamp as the Saffiano Bicolour. The array of available colours are vibrant and eye-catching (red and orange; yellow and brown) but we're especially partial to the classic white-and-black combo -- it's impossible to go wrong with a combination like that.
The new bag is available in two sizes at 33cm and 36cm in length, and comes with a shoulder strap attached, with a silk, satin, or fabric lining.
The Saffiano Lux Galleria bag is now available at all Prada boutiques in Singapore,at S$3,390 (33cm) and S$3,470 (36cm).
