Fashion and lifestyle brands that should make their way to our sunny shores, ASAP
Text: Denise Ngo
If there's one thing we dislike about the Great Singapore Sale, it's that once it's over, we're left with an insatiable need to keep shopping, discounts or not. And despite the variety of brands available here, we can't help wishing that our favourite overseas franchises would open a branch locally, so that we can enjoy those promotions from them instead of having to spend boatloads on international shipping.
What we would do to see an Urban Outfitters or J Crew flagship store open up on Orchard Road! And at any rate, nothing beats ooh-ing and ahh-ing over a super flattering outfit with your girlfriends in front of a gigantic dressing room mirror.
Continue reading to see the top 10 overseas franchises we'd like to see on our fair shores. With luck, at least one of them will arrive in time for GSS 2013.
