Manhunt Singapore 2013 Finals
Ah, Manhunt -- a competition where guys can shamelessly flaunt their buff bodies in barely-there swimwear while being judged for their beauty like fine cuts of beef. After six months of intensive training, the final contestants for Manhunt Singapore 2013 made their way down to Neverland II at the St. James Power Station, where they were finally able to show off the results of their hard work.
No beauty pageant would be complete without a little bit of drama, however. When the contestants first debuted a few months ago, the papers went nuts seeing 47-year-old super "uncle" Eric Koa compete alongside his younger counterparts. And Manhunt Singapore contestant Kendrick Lim became involved in a naked photo scandal just days before beign introduced at the press conference. But as Eric was eliminated before the final round, and the gossip around Kendrick had died down, the event was relatively chaste considering the amount of flesh that was flashed.
Some silly moments: When the guys danced onstage semi-naked, when poor Harry Tanujaya fell wrongly during his cheerleader flip (his second fumble since the Pre-Juding last month), and when one contestant replied "Scientist is....science" when asked how he would use the word "scientist" in a sentence. But all was forgotten when the winners received their prizes, as it's always lovely to see macho guys let their emotions fly free.
