You know something’s wrong with the world when even a Sports Illustrated Swim Issue cover girl gets flak for being “fat.” American model and actress Kate Upton, who sports an enviable 33-25-36 figure, recently earned some negative publicity when a female blogger on the website “Skinny Gurl” called Kate a “little piggy” with “huge thighs, NO waist, [and] big fat floppy boobs.”

While that post got flamed all over the web for perpetuating people’s obsession with skinniness, Kate’s received lots of criticism for attempting to cross over into the world of high fashion. After her first spread with Vogue, people questioned whether someone with her ample bosom and behind really fit the profile of a high-end model. Apparently, Kate’s look is too mainstream – read: not emaciated enough – for haute couture.
