Let the games begin! The futuristic action thriller — the first of four movies adapted from Suzanne Collins’ bestselling ‘young adult’ books — stars Jennifer Lawrence (in kick-ass mode) as Katniss Everdeen, a teenager forced to take part in a televised gladiatorial game show where she has to fight other teens to the death. The violence may have been toned down for the movie, but it still packs a punch. The sequel, Catching Fire, opens next November.
