The 30-year-old — he’s trained in Tokyo bars, employs the precise Nippon method of shaking up a cocktail and speaks Japlish — has set up home at this new bar-eatery. The mouthful of a moniker refers to the measuring device used to measure out spirits. Wet your whistle with classic cocktails made with a Japanese slant, such as the Jack Rose ($20) with homemade grenadine, calvados and lime juice. Fancy something more old-fashioned? Try the, well, Old Fashioned ($20) — Bourbon whisky, Angostura Bitters and sugar. Their food menu is still in the works.
