Lord of the Fries

While the truffle fries fad rages on, the peeps over at House and O My Dog have moved on… to four new flavours of fries. And not all of them are made of potato. Pumpkin Fries with Hazelnut Crumble, featuring orange sticks topped with crunchy hazelnut bits; Curry and Mustard Fries seasoned with paprika and curry powder; Carrot & Fennel Salt Straws with carrot strips showered with fennel powder; and lastly, Taro Straws tossed in Truffle Oil, for those who can’t get enough of the fragrant fungus. Moreover, you get to choose between two different cuts for your fries: shoestring or the even skinnier “straws”. These gourmet veggie creations do sound a tad healthier than regular fries… we’d like to think. Priced from $4 to $9 at O My Dog, and $9 to $12 at House.
