Four years after Otto Ristorante opened at Red Dot Traffic Building, it has spawned a slightly more casual sister outlet. Otto Locanda (locanda means “inn” in Italian) is located just a stone’s throw away at Maxwell Chambers and is helmed by a chef who used to cook for the Italian ambassador in Tokyo. The warmer, more invitingly decorated outfit here also serves northern Italian. Try the tantalising-looking Baked Potato Gnocchi ($24) with vine tomato and basil sauce or the classic Seafood Linguine ($30) with fresh tomato. End off with a Meringue Cake with Chocolate ($12) and an espresso.
