Curry Fish Head
This year’s Singapore Food Festival is big on seafood. Indulge in these two deliciously fun activities.
SEAFOOD MELA @ LITTLE INDIA
What: Little India attempts to create a Guinness World Record by serving 2,012 Curry Fish Heads in a single dinner. Chefs from six top local Indian restaurants, including Banana Leaf Apolo, will also whip up a sumptuous buffet for guests to enjoy. Makan and make history at the same time? Sounds like heartburn to us.

Where: Near Farrer Park MRT, Exit F
When: July 14

BEHIND THE SCENES @ JURONG FISHERY PORT
What: Tour the bustling fishing port in the wee hours of the morning and learn how to pick the freshest catch from the experts. (This was inspired by the dawn tours at Tsukiji fish market, perhaps?) After that, your tour guide-cum-chef will take you to a yet-to-be-confirmed restaurant and cook the very seafood you chose for breakfast. Yum.
Price: $150 per pax (minimum 20 pax per session)
Where: Meeting point at Boon Lay MRT
When: July 13–22, 5am to 9am
