Two former partners of hipster coffee roasters Papa Palheta run this tiny but charming retail shop-cum-bean-roaster in the middle of an old HDB estate. This takeaway joint only has four seats and they classify their no-nonsense gourmet coffees under “milk-based or non-milk based”. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have a nice cuppa here when it’s not crowded. There are usually two rotating blends on offer, and what we tried on both occasions we visited were very delicious and complex. Go for their version of a Piccolo Latte, the 7oz White ($4). There’s no food here, but check out their Facebook page for updates as they sometimes collaborate with indie bakers.
