In Harry Potter, Harry is the bold one, Ron is the joker and Hermione is the bookworm. Which were you inschool?
I think I was the joker in school. I enjoyed cracking jokes and making my friends laugh.
Winston Smith's fear of rats is exploited to the government's advantage in 1984. What is your biggest fear?
I'm afraid of rats, too! Actually, I'm afraid of rats and lizards and all those creatures with long tails; they're really gross. There was once I was wiping dry with my towel after a shower when I felt something sticking on my leg. I discovered it was a small lizard and it was just so sticky and clinging onto me. I screamed and freaked out before smacking it away. Scary.
Teenage angst, confusion and rebellion are recurring themes throughout The Catcher in the Rye. Are you the rebellious sort?
I think I am, I used to skip school all the time! Even when I was physically in school, I wouldn't go to class. Instead I'd hide under the staircase and sleep or eat just to pass time. [Laughs]
