Domenico Dolce - one half of fashion's most famous Italian duo, Dolce & Gabbana - has a new book. Titled Campioni, this 560-page tome features 67 portraits of young soccer players (such as Santacroce Fabiano, featured here), shot entirely by Dolce himself. "I strongly believe in this book.
With my images, I wanted to pay tribute to the strength and innocence of these players and at the same time I wanted to realise one of my dreams: To take photographs," he reveals.
This book will also support AriSLA, the Research Foundation for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. The foundation is set up to help patients get better care, improved life conditions and life expectancy, and to make research investments more effective and efficient.
Campioni will be available in Dolce & Gabbana stores from July 2012.
