Ebel's proprietary Calibre 137, a chronograph movement used in its 1911 BTR collection, has been snapped up by Ulysse Nardin. A change in brand direction has seen Ebel emphasise its ladies' line, which could be the reason it sold the rights to all the ebauches, tools and plans. Ulysse Nardin even hired five ex-Ebel employees who worked on the movement, soon to be renamed Calibre 150.
