Life isn’t a bed of roses, but Tomas Maier has somehow managed to sweeten the deal for us: The designer was in a contemplative mood at Bottega Veneta  and that translated into jackets and pants in a romantic floral print, which were then veiled in a thin layer of gauze. If that isn’t Maier’s clever way of telling us to always look out for a silver — or chiffon and organza — lining in every situation, we don’t know what is.
